I tried cutting out 2 different states but the cutter did not cut all the way through the stock. The stock measured 0.77 inches, and on the set up I put the stock thickness as 0.78. However, when the machine was finished there was approx 0.24 inches of stock thickness remaining to be cut in order to fully cut out the piece. Any idea on what I did wrong and how to fix it?

I have reached the part in the course where it is time to cut out a state. The video mentions starting with the file that was provided. Where do I find that file? I did not see anything in the written section below the video and I have not been able to find anywhere on the website where the files are located. Sorry to be asking such a basic question before I even begin my first project.
